Formed in 1958, the Players perform one of the famous comic Gilbert & Sullivan operettas each year.

We are a lively group that produces two shows a year. Our main production is in February/March when we perform a Gilbert & Sullivan operetta. Our second, is a summer concert in which we perform songs from many other musicals - quite often without any Gilbert & Sullivan in it!

There is a vigorous social element to our activities and we organise a number of outings and events throughout the year, including outings to shows in London, barbecues and a Christmas Party.

We rehearse once a week on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. and provide a warm welcome to all potential new members. Rehearsals for the main show start late August / early September and for the Summer concert, rehearsals start immediately after the Spring show.
 

We are always ready to welcome new members, either to perform on stage or to help us backstage.
